Frankie's Pasta & Pizza
About This Spot
Stepping into Frankie's Pasta & Pizza in Mexia feels like finding a treasured neighborhood table where time slows just enough for good company and great food. The cozy, unpretentious setting holds a quiet charm — a warmly lit space where familiar faces and friendly greetings mingle with the aroma of simmering sauces and freshly baked bread.
The pace here is comfortably relaxed, inviting guests to unwind whether they’re settling in for a leisurely dinner or stopping by for a thoughtfully prepared meal to-go. Amid the soft hum of conversation and attentive service, the focus is unmistakably on generous, heartfelt Italian cooking crafted from scratch.
Dining at Frankie's is a gentle journey into generous flavors and comforting textures. Plates arrive rich with layers — creamy fettuccine Alfredo that wraps around tender chicken, vibrant salads dressed in house-made vinaigrettes, and wood-fired pizzas with a perfectly crisp crust that holds just the right amount of gooey cheese. Each bite speaks of careful attention to tradition married with a welcome warmth, where classics like chicken Parmesan and flavorful calzones feel both familiar and deeply satisfying.
This is the kind of place where locals make a regular stop, drawn by the honest, home-spun feel of the kitchen and a team that treats each guest like part of the family. While the welcome might be casual, the experience leaves a lasting sense of something quietly special — a spot where time, taste, and community come together on one well-loved menu.

Best Italian restaurant in town!! Worth the drive from Fairfield, Corsicana, or Waco. Try it!! You’ll love it!

Delicious! The eggplant rollotini was fabulous! I highly recommend the zesty house dressing and garlic oil with fresh hot rolls.

This place is a gem, great atmosphere, delicious food, fresh ingredients, super friendly staff and owner! We had the Frankie's combo, which has chicken Parmesan, lasagna and Alfredo. We did add chicken to one of the Alfredo which was awesome.

Hidden Gem!!! If you are going through town/ live in Mexia, TX and want an excellent made from scratch meal- check this place out! Not much to look at from outside, tight parking (bc it's so good!) Slightly dated decor, BUT the food!!!!! Favorite stop for lunch, dinner, or meals to go. Priced right for a date night, or family!

We we're seated immediately, our server Kelsie greeted instantly and her introduction was spot on. She has a welcoming demeanor, she is fantastic. The food was splendid. Loving the new atmosphere, the new menus, and the new bowls. A+ on everything. No complaints!
